This is the second time this client has worked with Zesta Kitchens for their kitchen and laundry renovation and once again another beautiful transformation.
Whilst it was important retaining the traditional front part of the home the couple transformed the rear into a bright open space where the family of four could come together in their daily busy lives. The client required a kitchen and combined laundry/butler’s pantry which would be hidden from view. With a busy family functionality, flow and hard wearing surfaces were required to cope with the day to day hustle and bustle of life. The design using lighter materials to open up the space and create a brighter open family area was a great choice.
The streamlined cabinetry in Qualia Snow White gloss draws the natural light from the windows above enhances the luxurious glossiness.
The choice of YDL Shadow grey benchtop provides a soft grey grain running through the benchtop surfaces adding another dimension to the softness of the space. All topped off with the beautiful timber tiles used for the splashback to tie in with the flooring to add the warmth to the white kitchen.
The laundry/pantry areas are a natural flow from the kitchen behind a doorway to the left that can be closed to hide the washing, drying and additional storage. The row of tall cabinetry hides loads of additional storage including slide out drawers for everyday reach items. This leaves the kitchen area tidy and “clutter free” all behind closed doors.
We loved the extra thickness of the benchtops adding a deeper dimension whilst creating a slightly taller working space as well as providing extra durability.
This transformation was possible in listening and understanding the family’s needs and requirements, allowing for the perfect design. The family can now enjoy an open family friendly area with practical, durable surfaces that will last a long time in the future.
